Technical description

Foolscap 4o: top edge only trimmed 7½" × 5¾, white laid, J W Zanders; 10pt. Garamond; flowers in a double row around each text page; casing, spine buff buckram, gold-blocked up: ‘ELIZABETHAN SONNETS’, boards in Rizzi patterned paper, red and green flowers on light brown, with white paper label on upper cover: ‘[within a double row of flowers] A GARLAND | OF ELIZABETHAN | SONNETS’; tissue dust-jacket.
