Corvo's English version on verso, Nicolas's French text on recto; colour photogravures on inserts; casing, light buff cloth, gold-blocked on spine: ‘THE RUBÁIYÁT OF UMAR KHAIYÁM NICOLAS & CORVO ILLUSTD BY HAMZEH GARR [sic!] [block in gold black blue red: woman with distaff] THE BODLEY HEAD’, and on upper cover: ‘UMAR KHAIYÁM [block in same colours: seated man holding scroll]’.
Curwen copy examined lacked plates and casing.
I believe Gibbons in Leicester printed by photogravure.
