Foolscap 4o: 7⅛" × 6½", trimmed, top edge gilt, artificial headband white wove, Basingwerk Parchment; 11pt. Caslon; line blocks: 4 facsimiles of MSS by Dobson, and 2 bookplates printed from line blocks; casing, red buckram over bevelled boards, spine gold-blocked: ‘AN AUSTIN DOBSON BIBLIO- GRAPHY A.T.A. DOBSON F.E.C. 1925’
Curwen copy examined was numbered 46.
This copy bears inside the upper cover the bookplate of Robert Arundell Hudson, and on the facing leaf, in his handwriting: ‘I, Robert Hudson, give this volume, with my love, to Garve [?] Hill Hall Jan. 1927.’ On the inside of the upper cover 2 prices, 15/- and 10/-, appear in pencil. Curwen's bookplate overlaps that of Hudson.
