Technical description

Demy 8o: 8¾" × 5¾", top edge only trimmed and gilt, artificial headband, white laid, Ellerslie 14pt. Baskerville with ligatures; casing, spine buff cloth gold-blocked: ‘ANGOLA | AN | EASTERN | TALE | * | JACQUES- | ROCHETTE | DE LA | MORLIÈRE | CHAPMAN | & HALL’, boards white paper printed with pattern Kzb no.10 in black pink and green; dust-jacket of same patterned paper with printed label over upper cover and pen and ink label on spine.
