Miles Coverdale's version of the complete Bible appeared in 1535, probably made from Luther's version, the Zurich Bible, the Vulgate and Tyndale; he later superintended the printing of the Great Bible (1539); although the Authorised Version appeared in 1611, the Psalter in the 1662 Book of Common Prayer is essentially Coverdale's.
Curwen copy examined lacks plates and casing.
