Medium 4o reduced, 11¼" × 7½", top edge trimmed and gilt, artificial headband white mould-made, no mark; 18pt. Garamond; 10 collotype illustrations; casing, spine brown buckram gold-blocked: ‘OVID | THE | HEROYCALL | EPISTLES | George | Turbervile | The Cresset Press’, boards, grey linen, gold fillet at edge of buckram on upper and lower covers.

These poems are today usually called 'The Heroides'.
