Baskerville; collotype illustrations hand-coloured through stencils; casing, cream or natural buckram, bevelled boards, spine gold-blocked at foot: ‘1930’, gold fillet at head and tail, brown leather label near head, gold-blocked with fillet on every side and 1 fillet across, dividing into 2 compartments, stars at junctions of fillets, in upper compartment: ‘William Cobbett ADVICE TO YOUNG MEN AND TO YOUNG WOMEN’, and in lower compartment: ‘Alfred A.
