Baskerville; line block illustrations; the conjugate pairs inserted are not tipped in but folded about ½" from the hinge and sewn through, leaving their hinges as stubs; every such pair bears a line-block illustration on the outer page of one leaf, text on the outer page of the other leaf, and the opening between them blank; casing, black vellum, gold-blocked on spine: ‘TAMBURLAINE THE GREAT — MARLOWE’.
