See Dreyfus 1981 cat. 68: all edges untrimmed, spine natural canvas, black leather label gold-blocked: ‘LOVE AMONG THE HAY- STACKS · LAWRENCE’, boards yellow buckram, grey Ingres paper dust-jacket.
George Lazarus's copy as per Dreyfus, no dust-jacket. It seems likely differing board coverings were used.
One of the books shown in J. Curwen & Sons Centenary Exhibition 1963 (see Ab7) in Bloomsbury.
My thanks to Professor John Worthen who confirmed an Auvergne watermark in his copy and corrected the spacing of the initials D. H. L and the capitals in 'The Curwen Press' in my colophon transcript, Feb 2008.
Curwen Press copy was un-numbered; Worthen's 313, Lazarus's 424.
