Technical description

Demy 8o: 9¾" × 5½", trimmed, top edge gilt, white wove, Curwen Press + Unicorn, inserts of smoother white wove also with Unicorn mark; 12(+2)pt. Bembo; collotype illustrations on inserts; casing, marbled cloth, red leather spine label gold-blocked: ‘[decoration] | JOHNSON | & | QUEENEY | * | LANSDOWNE | [decoration]’.
