Technical description

Royal 4o: 12½" × 9¾", trimmed, artificial head- and tail-bandswhite wove, no mark, inserts of smoother white wove, no mark; 12didot Walbaum, (13pt. setting); colour halftone illustrations of medal ribbons etc. stamped to raise the coloured surface; casing, buff buckram, blocked red up the spine: ‘ORDERS DECORATIONS AND MEDALS’, and on upper cover ‘[block: Victoria Cross complete with clasp]’; printed dust-jacket.
