Crown 8o: 7¼" × 4½", trimmed, white wove, no mark, insert of blue wove, no mark; 12pt. Bembo; line block as headpiece, line block plan on insert; card wrappers with blue paper wrappers around, fixed to card by turn-ins;, spine printed up: ‘GRETA HALL BY H. W. HOWE’, and on upper wrapper: ‘[within a double-rule border] GRETA HALL | by | H. W. HOWE’.

Notes

Greta Hall, Keswick, Cumbria, was the home of Robert Southey and Samuel Taylor Coleridge. H. W. Howe was headmaster of nearby Keswick School.
