Foolscap 8o: 6½" × 4¼", trimmed white wove, no mark; 11didot Walbaum(12pt. setting); card wrappers, with blue wove paper wrappers around fixed to card by turn-ins, printed up spine: ‘HEARD : TRAINING FOR THE LIFE OF THE SPIRIT’, and on upper wrapper: ‘[within 38pt. border of flowers, a double rule, and within] PAMPHLET TWO | [rule] | TRAINING | FOR | THE LIFE | OF | THE | SPIRIT | GERALD HEARD | [then below foot of border] CASSELL EIGHTEENPENCE’.
