Technical description

Foolscap 4o: 7¼" × 8¾", trimmed white wove, no mark; 12(+4½)pt. Imprint; lithograph illustrations, alternate openings in colour, i.e. pages 1 4 5 8 9 12 13 and 16 of each section, and also on endleaves; casing, printed paper on millboard, trimmed flush, printed in colour with design bled over both boards, lettering on covers as follows: ‘[near top] THE ARABS | [then near bottom border] by R.B.Serjeant | and Edward Bawden’.
