Crown 8o: 7¼" × 4½", trimmed. top edge red,white wove, no mark; 11(+2)pt. Baskerville; casing, grey cloth gold-blocked on spine: ‘[decoration and fillet] | THE | ROCK | POOL | by | Cyril | Connolly | [fillet and decoration] | [2 fillets] | HAMISH | HAMILTON’, and in red 2 panels as background to the first 6 lines of blocking, and 1 fillet near the foot between the 2 gold fillets; printed dust-jacket.

The only novel (satirical) by Cyril Connolly.
