Technical description

Crown 8o: 7¼" × 4⅜", trimmed, top edge yellow,white wove, no mark, inserts of loaded paper; 11(+1)pt. Bembo; halftone illustrations on inserts; casing, yellow cloth blocked in brown on upper cover with circular design including portrait of Erasmus, and on spine with fillets and flowers in 6 panels, 2nd panel lettered: ‘ERASMUS | OF | ROTTERDAM | BY | HUIZINGA’; printed dust-jacket.
