Garamond with ligatures; 9 line block illustrations, 7 of them in colour, green, yellow: red, salmon, blue-grey and brown-grey; casing, white buckram, gold-blocked up spine: ‘A BOX OF PAINTS. — SCOTT & RUTHERSTON’, and on upper cover: ‘A BOX OF PAINTS POEMS BY GEOFFREY SCOTT WITH DRAWINGS BY ALBERT RUTHERSTON’; printed dust-jacket.
A seal: ‘British Hand Made’ sometimes appears as a countermark to the anvil + mallet.
