Crown 8o: 7⅜" × 5", top edge only trimmed, white laid, P M Fabriano Perugia, + crowned winged lion rampant above Perugia, inserts in C-I are white wove, no mark; 12pt. Imprint with 3-line dropped initials; line block illustrations, colour printing in yellow green grey pink, on [A]5r and C2v, and red+black on versos between them; collotype illustrations on inserts in C-I; casing, spine yellow cloth gold-blocked: ‘A CHATTO & WINDUS ALMA- NACK 1926’, boards white paper, upper cover printed: ‘A CHATTO & WINDUS ALMANACK [block as on C2v but in black] LONDON 1926’

Holbrook Jackson Re ascribes these illustrations to Rutherston; B.L. copy stamped 30/Nov/1993 in red, indicating purchase not legal deposit; watermark of fine-paper edition shows this paper comes from Fabriano, in Perugia, capital of Umbria, Italy.
