Crown 8o: 7⅜" × 5", top edge only trimmed, white wove, no mark ; 12pt. Caslon; line blocks, a pair of frames in brown similar to that on t.p. appears on B1v and B2r; casing, spine blue cloth, gold blocked: ‘THE BIBLIO- PHILE'S ALMA- NACK’, boards white paper, upper cover printed in brown, with red and blue: ‘[within a frame, a scroll with cherubs and wreath, and inside, in oblique script] THE BIBLIOPHILE'S ALMANACK for 1927 [the wreath has blue decoration, and the scroll is edged in red].’
The cheap edition at 2/6d is not in Curwen library or B.L. This 'best paper' edition was deposited with the B.L. as required by the Copyright Act 1911.
