Paul Valéry's Introduction à la méthode de Léonard de Vinci was first published in La Nouvelle Revue, Paris, in 1894; reprinted Paris, Gallimard, 1919. Valéry signed 50 copies of this English limited edition; B.L. copy is numbered 12, rebound in 1944 after war damage, removing the original top edge; not in ULRLS.
