Technical description

Foolscap 4o: 8⅛" × 5¾", top edge only trimmed and gilt, artificial headband, white wove, Pannekoek Holland; 12(+7)pt. Walbaum hand set; 4 drypoint illustrations; casing, beige silk on bevelled boards, spine gold-blocked: ‘THE | LADY | WHO | LOVED | INSECTS’, and on upper cover: ‘[within a frame, the lettering reading downwards in vertical lines, starting on left] THE LADY | WHO LOVED | INSECTS’; slip-case covered in brown paper.
