Baskerville, red decorative initials to chapters; halftone illustrations throughout on rectos, collotype on [1]2v with caption separately printed from engraved plate; casing, blue buckram, red leather spine label 3" high gold-blocked: ‘[swelled rule] SILVER SPOONS AND HALL-MARKS I HOW [swelled rule]’; printed dust-jacket.
B.L. catalogue states their copy is no.4 of 50 on mouldmade paper, specially bound; Curwen library copy was un-numbered; for volume 2 see ZKd; volume 3 was not printed till 1957, so fell outside the scope of the 1963 handlist but has been added at ZOk during the current revision.
